The Monday Letter
The Lady presses her ear to every porch swing and writes up what's comin' soon to the Teays Valley and beyond. The Oct. 19, 2026 letter covered:
- 🥩 A Texas Roadhouse planned for Liberty Park Drive, confirmed by the County Commission in July. No opening date announced yet.
- 🏫 The new Hurricane Middle School running over budget and being trimmed to fit, as the school board heard in September. The current building dates to 1950.
- 🥂 A toast to Toyota West Virginia: 30 years since the 1996 Buffalo groundbreaking, and more than 2,000 employees strong.
